Poison Ivy Flowers

Poison ivy plants produce small, inconspicuous flowers that typically appear in late spring or early summer. The flowers are typically white or greenish-white in color, and they grow in small clusters at the end of the plant's branches. Each flower is made up of five petals and five stamens, and they are often difficult to spot among the leaves of the plant. While the flowers themselves are not harmful, it's important to remember that the leaves and stems of poison ivy contain a toxic oil called urushiol, which can cause a painful rash if it comes into contact with skin.
